Gentle Yoga & Mobility Sessions at Home

Supporting strength, balance and confidence as we age

I offer personalised yoga-based movement sessions for older adults who would like support staying mobile, strong and confident in their own homes.

These sessions are ideal for people who may find it difficult to attend classes, or prefer to move in a familiar environment.

Using yoga as the foundation, sessions combine gentle stretching, strength and balance work with breath awareness to support the body in a calm and supportive way.

Everything is adapted to suit the individual. Whether that means working mostly from a chair, practising getting up and down from the floor, or stretches and slow movements to release stiffness and build confidence.

What does a session?

Each session is tailored to suit the individual, but may include:

  • Gentle stretches and yoga poses to improve mobility

  • Chair-based yoga or supported movement

  • Balance work to reduce the risk of falls

  • Light strength work

  • Practicing getting up and down from the floor safely

  • Breathing exercises to support relaxation

  • Short guided meditation or relaxation (if desired)
