Personal Training with Beth
Personalised, encouraging and built around you
I know how intimidating the gym can feel, especially if you’ve spent years on the cardio machines trying to ‘tone-up’ and wondering why you’re not getting any results. That was me. When I first starting lifting, I had a shock when I wasn’t able to lift a 20kg barbell off the floor and onto the rack. I always thought I was quite strong!
Over time, learning to move with proper technique and a bit of self-belief completely changed my relationship with my body (from the inside-out).
With a background in both strength training and yoga, I combine functional movement with weight-lifting. We work on building muscle and improving mobility in ways that last. I see it as training for life, rather than for the cat-walk.
My approach is female-focused. Our bodies work differently than men’s and we deserve to train in ways that support those rhythms. Strength training is one of the BEST ways women can protect bone and joint health as we age.
Whether you’re brand new to lifting, returning after a break or want to understand how your energy and hormones affect your training, you’ll get a completely personalised plan that meets you where you are.

How it works
Sessions are tailored around you.
I offer:
1:1 personal training (in person at Rise Studio)
Hybrid sessions (mix of strength and yoga - if you’d like to incorporate both!)
Cycle aware training (learn how to adapt to your cycle if this is relevant to you)
You’ll get:
Personalised coaching focused on your body, goals and lifestyle
Form support and clear guidance so that you feel confident using weights
A supportive environment where you’ll be able to ask questions, go at your pace and be proud of what your body can do!
Education around female health and training, including a simple guide I’ve created around cycles and nourishment (optional and based on my own research, please note that I am not a medical professional)
