My Story…
Hi I’m Beth.
Yoga teacher, reformed gym-rat, curious human.
I didn’t always know I’d end up in the wellness world; I actually left uni with a Spanish degree and a love for dumbbells. Of course, I went with the weights and jumped straight into personal training as soon as I graduated.
I threw myself into PT life; I survived spin, sweaty circuits classes and even ZUU training (you can Google that one!). But something always felt missing. I wanted to offer people more, I just wasn’t sure what. Over time I fell out of love with the fitness industry. The hustle, the comparison, and the growing Apple watch obsession (sorry if you worship yours) wore me down. My health and hormones suffered too.
Fast forward a few years, I’d dabbled in this and that, but I was still pretty lost, so I did the only sensible thing I could think of: book a 1-way flight to New Zealand. And honestly? It kind of worked. I got re-inspired while looking for penguins and sleeping remote corners of the Earth. So, on my way home, I made a spontaneous detour to India to study yoga (I know it’s cliché, but I was deep in my Saturn return okay?)
From the moment I started teaching yoga, things started slotting into place. The part of me that felt incomplete as a PT suddenly had space to breathe. It became less about sets and reps, and more about how movement feels.
Students often tell me my yoga feels different. As an Aquarius, I’ll take that as a compliment! I think it’s because I focus on body intelligence over perfection, and that helps people feel safe to explore not just perform.
Now I bring the best of both worlds together! Strength, mobility and movement curiosity. I help people feel capable and confident in their bodies through PT, group exercise and yoga classes.
These days, I blend my 500 hours of yoga training with my background in strength coaching. I like to think of myself as a fitness-informed yogi. And for the spiritually curious among you, I also offer Human Design chart readings for anyone looking to understand their energy more deeply, so you can align inside and out.
